Graduated in Veterinary Medicine at Camerino University, he started his carrier working with exotic and wild animals in a first opinion clinic in Fabriano (AN). Since 2001 he is the official veterinary of several conservation project of endangered raptor species, like the Red kite and the Great horned owl. Since 2001 he is the chief veterinary of the Egyptian vulture conservation project in Rocchette di fazio (GR), the biggest egyptian vulture breeding station in the world. Dr. Bedin has been the official Veterinarian of the CRASE (Exotic and wild animal rescue center) WWF Marche, where he was also involved in management and husbandry of animals. Since 2001 to 2007 he has been contracted professor for the courses of “Avian Traumatology”, “Reptile surgery” and Small mammals Traumatology” at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Padua University. He is author of many articles on Italian and International journal of exotic and wildlife veterinary medicine and surgery. He is Author or Co-author of many presentation at national and international scientific congress. In 2010 he obtained his PhD at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Padua university, with a final discussion on a new radio-ulnar fracture repair technique on birds of prey. Since 2005, he works at “Clinica Veterinaria Euganea” where is the chief veterinarian and one of the founders. He practices exclusively with exotic and zoo animals at the department of exotic and zoo animal medicine and surgery of the same clinic. Since 2007 he works as a specialist of exotic animal medicine and surgery at the “Portoni Rossi Veterinary Hospital” in Bologna, Italy. He is member of the CD of Padua provincial veterinary board. Since 2011 he is the President of the SIVAE (Italian society of Exotic Animal Veterinarians).
